World Series 2010 - October 30, 2010

THE WORLD SERIES 2010!! That's RIGHT, WORLD SERIES.... pretty amazing.   I never thought that "I", let alone the whole family would have an opportunity to see the World Series, but this year it happened.

Thanks to a friend of John's from Ennis Paint.  THANKS Tracy!

Surprisingly enough, it was a warm night, just perfect for baseball and a few beers.  The kids got loads of JUNK to eat too.  Popcorn, hot dogs and of course, cotton candy.....cheesey fries, slushies and candy....what can i say... you just can say NO, when this is a once in a life time experience.  I let them have all the junk they wanted.. pretty much.

Here's Jacob.  He's 6 and really doesn't know how LUCKY he is to be at this game.  There was even a nice gentleman sitting by us who asked him just that.

LUCKY LUCKY KIDDO!!

My boys before the game started, just taking it all in.

AND...here's John.. I think he was having the most fun of all.

All and all, this was a FANTASTIC experience for ALL of us.

NEXT.... THE SUPER BOWL!!     : D

Meet Milo!!

This little guy is "Milo". We've had him for about 6 weeks and he's a sweetie!! He weighs 2.8 pounds and is 5 months old..

He's just now starting to become a character in our house hold. He likes to bite John's toes (who claims he hates the dog, but I don't believe him.) and (unfortunately) has begun humping Jordan's arm, or whatever appendage is available at the moment..... LMAO!!

Anyway, we love him and he's a GREAT addition to our family!! I'm sure I'll have more "Milo" stories later.

1st day of Kindergarten for Jacob

August 2009

Little munchkin is now a mighty Kindergartner!

His teachers name is pretty easy to remeber.. McDonald.. as in "old McDonald".. I'm sure that's why her toom is made up to look like a FARM! :)

This was taken after Jordan's first game with the Arlington Knights. They lost, but that's just how it goes.
He's on two teams right now, so poor thing was sore!!
Little brother was pretty excited too! I'm sure Jake will want to play too... lord knows he's BIG enough.

This is our cat K.C. who is 19 years old... yes 19... she's outlived everyone of her kittens (only had one litter) and doesn't seem to be going ANYWHERE.

Tough old bat!

Summer Vacation in Riviera Maya 2008

July 2008 ~ We hadn't vacationed with the Ozuna family in a few years and finally we had the opportunity. We seem to travel well together and yet again we had a wonderful time.

This day at the beach was a lazy day. Perfect in my mind. I think the kids felt the same.
This is at the resorts beach.

Playa del Car ~ shopping and site seeing... the kids hated it until they got a few bucks to spend! Aunt Barbara to the rescue!!!

Here we're in Chichén Itzá. It was a VERY hot day...thus the cute hat on Jake's head.... :) Very cool place to be.

Jacob's first LOVE :)

I haven't posted anything in a while, but I'm at it again. This one's a favorite of mine. This little girl's name is Presley and she's the sister to one of Jordan's (big brother) soccer mates. Well, while Jordan played, Jacob spent his time with Presley. She's a cutey and he's IN LOVE! It's been 6 months since soccer season and he still talks about her. Not just TALKS.... says he's going to MARRY her. WOW! My baby.... marry a girl at 4. I wasn't quite ready for THAT.. heehheeheee...

Jacob goes to see Santa 2007

This was the first year Jake was not AFRAID of Santa, it was GREAT!

Mi Familia!??

3/4/08
One of my 'defective' cousins has made a comment and sent a url, in reference to my posting below. I think it is worthy of publishing so here it is:

Veronica has left a new comment on your post "Mi Familia!??": Compare The Nini's expression with that of Albert Einstein. That's not a genetic defect, that's the expression of a genius. You should consider yourself lucky! Just look at this: http://www.edugraphics.net/gj-people/gj221-to.htm
what can i say.... she's got a point!

I'm thinking that I have kids that are nutz....but in going home for Christmas, I realize it's a genetic defect that I must carry in the genes I've passed to my MONSTERS!! This is the first evidence I've gathered that their behavior is not a DEFECT but a GENETIC MUTATION!!!... :P

Let me show you what I mean!! Observe....

THIS is my cousin Veronica and MY MOTHER!!! MY mother...
she never told me 'crazy' ran in our family... :)

Then, there's my cousin Aaron.... He proudly serves in our US NAVY but he wouldn't let me take a decent picture of him....DAMN IT!! I'm so proud of ALL my cousins serving in the service!!

Late Christmas POST

Ooooooeewww, I'm late with posting my Christmas pictures, but OH WELL, right?

Well, dispite the 'loving' out
ward appearance, these monsters fight all the time. I'm just lucky I got them to sit still for half a second to get some pictures. I had to promise to buy them these hats!! You'll see the other goofy one below too.

Thanksgiving in Tyler 2007

John and I have been going to Tyler for Thanksgiving for the last 18 years.
(that IS a big stack of wood.. or should I say small trees, behind the boys, which will be a VERY large BON fire later......you know you're a 'rednecks' when... heee heee.. I LOVE THEM!)

It's a great place to spend time and visit with family.
Tina cooks the best STUFF and LOTs of it.
Of course, being in the country is the best part for the kids.

They have horses, cows, a pond near by, trails,

4 wheelers and TRACTORS!
Uncle Jerry, he always takes the boys out on the tractors.

This is my cutie pie nephew, Michael with Jake.

They were in heaven.

Halloween 2007

This Halloween was pretty fun.... there were kids everywhere!! Most I've seen in years.

The boys, Jordan, Jake and John went to the "son & dad pumpkin carving" at Jordan's elementary school. They did a great job!

Jake was so cute, he dressed up as a very bulked up SPIDER MAN...

it was funny.... he was diggin the muscles..
